Professor Donald Sage Mackay, 1892 - 1957?

After his father Reverend Donald Sage Mackay died in, followed, five years later, by his mother Helen Lawrence Smith Mackay, my father went on to finish his college years at Williams College in Massachusetts. He enrolled then at Columbia University's Union Theological College. then came 1914 and WW I. He enlisted as a lieutenant in the army, under General Pershing and fought fierce battles in France. He was wounded at* and sent home. (Put in war record here) The picture you see is of Helen Thorndike Mackay, my father's wife.
